Purposes of this blog:1) inform and educate through written and shared views and comments on a variety of issues and subjects that affect, effect, and impact America, Americans and the world at large; 2) Provide information to parents and others who serve parents and children; assist parents with effectively advocating for their children within their schools and the education system, as well as assisting parents with advancing their parenting skills and 3) Provide authors with additional book exposure through a monthly Showcases of Mrs. Dorothy Barron’s written review of authors’ books.

Mrs. Dorothy Barron, the Author:

Mrs. Dorothy Barron is the Author of the Book, Slinging Stones when United States Congress has lost control and American Courts are out of control. The book was written in 2006, copyrighted in 2008 and published in 2009. It is Mrs. Barron’s personal story of her search for answers and justice which “led to some shocking discoveries and deceptions about our government and (some) officers of the government …when the Courts and others violated and made a mockery of the United States Constitution and the author’s rights under The Constitution in not one, three, or five, but ten (10) of her cases” which she filed or attempted to file.

Mrs. Barron is not a novice to government and government actions. She has amassed knowledge in various areas of government through her volunteer advocacy work and interaction with officers, administrators and leaders in and at all levels of government.

Mrs. Dorothy Barron, the Former Co-founder and Director of the Organization, Parents Focused on Education:

Mrs. Barron Co-founded and served as Director of the parenting organization - Parents Focused On Education. While in this position, she penned a series of parental/education self-help booklets titled "Parents Taking Charge in Education," taught parenting education classes, conducted workshops, and sat on a number of local and system-wide school committees.

Her most notable accomplishment is her sixteen-year period of volunteer service and advocacy on behalf of youth in the area of education.

Mrs. Barron is the recipient of over thirty (30) awards and recognition from many Schools, Organizations, Political, Education, Community & Business Leaders.

Mrs. Dorothy Barron is a multi-talented individual with experience in a number of fields- mass communications, medical, travel, retail, and education. She has served in the area of social advocacy for over twenty-five years without pay. She became an advocate for young people in the field of education; sixteen of those years encompassed volunteer service in both public and private schools.

She has taught Bible Classes for ages pre-school through women adult classes and also served as host for Christian women’s programs.

She has written, produced and hosted her own television series.

Others describe her as a “jewel,” because of her ability to make a difference in the lives of others. She motivates and inspires! She is versatile and multi-talented.
